[AWARDS] Musashi Paint head office building awarded with “2024 Asia Architecture Design Awards.”

The head office building of Musashi Paint has been chosen for 2024 Asia Architecture Design Awards and won ASIA’S BEST COMMERCIAL BUILDING ARCHITECTURE DESIGN.

We are proud that our head office building which beautifully expresses our corporate purpose “Enriching the World with Our Colors and Technology” earned high praises in Asia. We believe this award proves global recognition of our philosophy and corporate efforts.

What is the Asia Architecture Design Awards?

The Asia Architecture Design Awards are awards that acknowledge the exceptional achievements of architects and designers.

Candidates for these awards are evaluated by a group of specialists for display of top-tier creations in architecture, interior design, architectural products, and individual works that are innovative, creative, and inspirational.

For 2024, architects and designers who best showcased the theme of “Emerging Asia” with their excellence in creativity and rich imagination throughout Asia were awarded. Reception of these awards strengthens the recipients’ brand identity as well as their global recognition.

Awards Ceremony

We attended the awards ceremony with the architectural designer.

We attended the awards ceremony held in Bangkok with Keiichiro Sako who designed the “VERTICAL RAINBOW in TOKYO” (Musashi Paint’s head office building).

It was a glamourous event with many recipients gathering from all over Asia.

Voice of the Developers “The Challenges and Joys of Musashi Paint”

Musashi Paint developed a special paint for the glass facade of the head office building based on its philosophy of “Enriching the World with Our Colors and Technology.”

With firm belief that this project was an opportunity to actually showcase the company’s philosophy, we took on a new challenge of applying highly weather-resistant paint with high saturation in a gradation of colors on a massive glass used outdoors.

Through many trials and errors, the once mundane head office building of Musashi Paint has transformed into this bright and colorful architecture you see in this photo.

Passers-by who felt that this rainbow may bring in good luck posted snapshots of it on the social media, creating a buzz and receiving many positive comments.

It is not often that the development team gets to hear words of appreciation from end users.

However, we were given previous opportunities to learn them through social media.

While it may only be a spontaneous encounter for a very brief moment, we were happy to know that our work had a positive effect on that person’s life and recognized once again that our work helps enrich people’s lives in society.

We are extremely proud to have our head office building “VERTICAL RAINBOW in TOKYO” awarded with ASIA’S BEST COMMERCIAL BUILDING ARCHITECTURE DESIGN.
