【Message from the Managing Director】
Zhongshan Musashi Paint was established in 1999 as the first manufacturing site built by the Musashi Paint Group.
Initially, the company mainly supported production transfers from Japanese customers shifting manufacturing to China. The business expanded significantly after introducing UV coatings for mobile phone applications, one of the earliest such solutions in the Chinese market. This helped establish the Musashi Paint brand in China.
Today, Zhongshan Musashi Paint operates with an integrated structure that includes both manufacturing and product development capabilities. Our development team works closely with customers to create tailored coating solutions for evolving market needs.
The role of China within global manufacturing is changing. The market is gradually shifting from a production center to a technology and development hub, while some manufacturing functions are moving to Southeast Asia. At the same time, competition is increasing as both global coating companies and rapidly growing Chinese manufacturers expand their presence.
